Dorothy Carroll

  Dorothy Jean Carroll, 95 passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023, at her home in Jackson, Tennessee with her family around her.

  She was born on November 13, 1927, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Jack B. Clark and Sally Henley Clark.

  She was a member of Englewood Baptist Church.

  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack T. Carroll, who passed away in 1986, as well as her brother Jack B. Clark, Jr.

  Survivors include her daughters Ann Carroll of Jackson, Tennessee, Nancy Carroll Cranfill (Gordon) of Lewisville, N. Carolina; Sarah Carroll Wood (Jeff) of Humboldt, Tennessee, Jack Thomas Carroll, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Four grandchildren Stephanie Harris Miller (Richard) and Ben T. Harris (Whitney) of Winston-Salem, N. Carolina; Jack T. Carroll, III (Alex) of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Laura Carroll Taylor (Jesse) of Jackson, Mississippi.  Six great grandchildren Gabby Rickett and Emily Grace Miller; Jesse and Jack Taylor; Lee Carroll and Hank Harris.

  Dorothy found true joy in caring for her family.  She had a timeless love for them and made it her priority to provide them with all the support and love they needed.
