Donna Carol Green

Donna Carol Grigsbay Green, 58, died October 6, 2014. Donna was born in Nashville, TN, and lived most of her life raising her children and family in Jackson, TN. She was a beloved wife, beloved mother and Nanna, and a cherished daughter and sister. Donna was born on May 14, 1956 to Thomas and Mary Grigsbay of Tampa, FL. Donna was married to Tommy Green of almost 30 years. Donna was a graduate of Jackson Central Merry. Donna dedicated her life to her church and family. She was a member of Northside United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and playing handbells. Donna was an Optician at Lifetime Eyecare Family Vision Center for 20 years. She had many special friends who loved and cared for her deeply. She was a true Christian woman who dedicated her life to others. She is survived by her mother, Mary Grigsbay; husband, Tommy Green; son and daughter in law, Bryan and Candice Hamilton; daughter and son in law, Angela and Tommy McCrady; son and daughter in law, Jamey and Laura Green; grandchildren, Aidan McCrady, Joseph Hamilton II, Annalynn McCrady, and Savannah Hamilton; along with 3 step children and 4 grandchildren; and 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She will be remembered as a kindred spirit and was loved by so many. Visitation will be on Friday, October 10, 2014, at 9:30 am at Northside United Methodist Church, 2571 North Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305. Funeral will follow at 11:00 am.
