Reverend Donald Keith Lance
Reverend Donald Keith Lance departed this life on July 24, 2013 in Sango, Tennessee where he was being cared for by his Children.
He was born on January 10, 1937, to the Late George Wallace Lance and Gladys Glow Carter Lance in Custar, Ohio. He was raised in Paragon, Indiana and during his lifetime lived in Indianapolis Indiana, Chicago, Illinois, Jacks Creek, Tennessee, Columbia, Tennessee and Jayess Mississippi. He started Evangelizing in 1971 and continued until his health failed him in February of this year. His traveling ministry took him to almost every state across America and several foreign countries. He touched countless lives all over the world and also built a missionary work in the Philippine Islands that is continuing on to this day.
Elder Lance was married to Donna G. Carter Lance on October 27, 1956. He is survived by his wife Donna Lance of Columbia, Tennessee; four daughters, Candy (Joey) Heflin of Clarksville Tennessee, Theresa (Mike) Wallace of Jayess Mississippi, Tina (Ron) Young of Nashville, Tennessee and Kimberly (Kenny) Conner of Columbia, Tennessee; two sons, Donald (Bridget) Lance of Jackson, Tennessee and Brian Lance of Jayess, Mississippi; ten grandchildren, Candace, Joseph, Micah, Jeremy, Landon, Stephen, Stacey, Wesley, Kenny Joe, Dathon, Natalia, Navaya, Naylan and Raelynn and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation and home going service will be at Lighthouse Church 1435 Old Humboldt Road, Jackson, Tennessee with Reverends Donald Ray Lance, Jerry Hubert, Bob Prather, Larry Reed and Michael Couch officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Home going service will be on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday at the Maury Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN.
