Donald Frank Christie

Frank Christie, beloved son, husband, and father died unexpectedly at 51 years of age on Friday, December 12, 2015.
He was born August 26, 1964, in Humboldt, TN, the son of Frances Perry Christie and the late Donald T. Christie. The Community Executive at Simmons Bank, Frank was a Deacon at First Baptist Church Humboldt, President of the Strawberry Festival in 1996, a member of the Lions Club, and Humboldt Music Club, former chairman of the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation Board- Humboldt General, a board member of the Dream Center, and a graduate of Union University where he served as President of the ATO Fraternity. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboy’s fan. Frank enjoyed golf and his trips with his buddies.
He is survived by his wife April Christie of Humboldt, TN, one daughter Catherine Christie of Humboldt, TN, and his mother Frances Christie of Humboldt, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald T. Christie, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Perry and Ms. Tessie Christie.
Those serving as pallbearers will be John Hale, Barry DeLoach, Phil Stafford, George Boyte, Jerry Culpepper and Trey Teel.
SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 15, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Humboldt with Dr. Bob Agee, Dr. Greg McFadden and Dr. Ed North officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, December 14, 2015 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at First Baptist Church Humboldt.
