Dennis Barnhill

Dennis Bruce Barnhill was born in Jackson Tennessee to Bruce and Judy Barnhill on March 5, 1969. He was 49 years old when he passed away peacefully in his home with his loving family by his side on October 4, 2018. He fought a hard battle with pancreatic and liver cancer after being diagnosed a very short three months earlier. Along with his parents, he is survived by his beautiful daughters, Allie and Christian Barnhill; one sister Debra Lindkvist; and a very special niece, Nikkole Lindkvist. His wife, Frieda Barnhill; step-daughters Madison Beaird and Morgan Derry; step-grandchildren, Wakelan Derry and Eden Beaird -to which he was affectionately referred to as “Nennis"; a very special uncle Jerry Griggs, and a special person he considered a brother, Billy Pulley.

Dennis worked in sales for ARC Document Solutions in Memphis Tennessee. While he has only been employed with this company for two short years, he was considered the company's top salesperson, earning the number one sales position world-wide during the last month in which he worked. He was involved in and loved his car club and had an unmistakable love for the Ford Mustang. He would mention privately that it wasn't always about the cars, but it was the great people that he had met within the club along the way, that he loved most.

Dennis graduated from North Side High School in Jackson Tennessee where he made, and has kept up with, some of his lifelong friends. He grew up loving sports (which included great memories of he and his father) such as baseball, football and then enjoyed bike racing where he also would compete on a national level.

Dennis is described by those who loved him as a fun, loving, caring Christian person who loved the Lord first and being the family man that he was, he enjoyed special times spent with his family. Dennis took every opportunity that came along to help those in need while also witnessing to them -sharing the love of Jesus and what his faith meant to him.

Visitation for Dennis Barnhill will be Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Arrington Funeral Directors from 2:00pm-5:00pm. There will also be visitation from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Services for Dennis Barnhill will be Monday, October 8, 2018 at 2:00pm with Pastor Randy Carter officiating the service.

Pallbearers to serve will be Paul Mosier, Frank Neely, Mike Webb, Perry Ridenhour, Jay Ronca, Tom Hoskinson, and Ben Obrien.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Dennis’ favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Miracle Network.
