Delois Childress

Funeral services for DeLois Ann Childress, 70, will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, October 9, 2010 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Pastor Randy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Childress died on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Regional Hospital of Jackson.DeLois was born on November 21, 1939 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie McDonald Phillips. She was a retired LPN from Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a member of Northside Assembly of God, Jackson, TN. One of her most enjoyable past-times was listening to Southern Gospel music.She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Russell Childress of Medina, TN; her daughter, Natalie Tucker and her husband Rod of Medina, TN; three grandchildren, Colton Tucker, Chris Tucker and his wife Trinia and Lauren Schoate and her husband Chris.Pallbearers to serve will be Colton Tucker, Hugh Dear, Dennis Brown, Russ Steiner and Tim Enochs The family will be receiving friends on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
