Darce Cole Melugin

Darce Cole Melugin, age 87, died January 2, 2022, at Northbrooke Health Care and Rehab Center of Jackson of natural causes.
She was born in Hickman KY on January 17, 1934, the daughter of the late Collie and Lena Maie Snead. She was married to Jesse Melugin who preceded her in death in 1998 and Swayne Cole in 2013. She was a member of Calvary Baptist of Humboldt. Darce was retired as the manager of the Health and Beauty Aids department with Kroger, after twenty-one years of faithful service. Her grandchildren were her life and she enjoyed them greatly.
Darce is survived by her four children, Linda Phillips and husband John of Beech Bluff, TN, Steve Melugin and wife Sinda of Three Way, TN, Tim Melugin and wife Kathy of Three Way, TN and Rick Melugin and wife Jayna of Jackson, TN: a brother William Snead, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Randall Melugin, grandson Landon Melugin, parents, and husbands, a brother Clifford Snead and two sisters Imagene Snead and Estelle Evans.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Rev. Mike Sellars officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers serving will be Jesse Melugin, Jason Melugin, Dane Melugin, Timothy Melugin, Chris Cupples, Van Antee and honorary Holden Melugin.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service.
