Danny H. Wells, a man known for his vibrant personality and dedication to making kids' smiles soar
as the owner of Dande Jumpers, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the Christian
Care Center of Medina, TN. He was 68 years old.
Born on July 17, 1955, in Jackson, Tennessee, the son of the late Bobby H. and Eunice Mae Hanna
Wells, Danny's life was filled with joyous moments and passions that defined him. He will be
remembered as fun-loving individual with a deep love for University of Tennessee football, muscle
cars - particularly the Ford Mustang, rock and roll music, and an interest in weather patterns. His
presence at Hillcrest Baptist Church brought comfort and community to many.
Danny leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him. Danny is survived by his
daughter, Rebekah Sullivan and her husband Nathan of Wynne, AR; son, Houston Wells and his
wife Kristin of Jackson, TN; brother, Mark Wells and his wife Beth of Jackson, TN; brother, Jim Wells
and his wife Mary Ann of Jackson, TN; as well as grandchildren Jersey, Evie, Blake Connor and
soon to be Vivian.
Services to honor and celebrate Danny's life will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel
of Arrington Funeral Directors with Dr. Jerry Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Browns Cemetery.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing
until the service time of 1:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to attend in casual attire.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers that a contribution be made to St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org.
As we mourn the loss of Danny H. Wells, we also celebrate a life well-lived and memories that will
forever hold a special place in our hearts.
