Christine Rush Barker, 80, died August 12, 2014 at Applingwood Healthcare in Cordova, TN.
She was born January 4, 1934 in Guntersville, AL the daughter of the late John and Hattie Wright Rush. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by four children, Debby Freeman, Ronny Singleton (Julie), Sandy Nicholson, Randy Singleton (Kim), four step-children, Pete Barker Jr (Sue Ellen), Dilowe Barker (Cheryl), Tommy Barker (Rosetta), B. B. Barker, brother, John Rush, Jr (Helen), sister, Wilma Arnette, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great grandchild due in November, fourteen step-grandchildren, 12 step great-grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew and one very special cousin, Clara Hunkapilla.
Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her husband D. P. (Pete) Barker, her parents, a brother Jimmy Rush and step daughter Johayna Mullen.
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Friday August 15, 2014 at 3:30PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. The family will be receiving friends Friday from 2:15 until service time at 3:30PM. There will be a private family burial.
