Cheryl Leah Johnson

Cheryl Leah Johnson, age 60, died on Thursday, July 02, 2015 at the Northbrooke Health Care and Rehab Center.
A native of Jackson, TN, she was born on February 18, 1955, the daughter of Joyce Ann Mullins Elder and the late Franklin D. Knight. She formerly owned and operated a lawn service and the Dixie Grill in downtown Jackson and had been employed with the former Proctor and Gamble (Kellogg’s) for approximately 20 years. She was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Casey (Leah) April Johnson; her mother, Joyce Ann Elder; three sisters, Cherrie Sue Davis, Regina Ann Taylor and Rachell Reaves and a brother, David Elder.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte Lynn David and Donna Faye Webb and a brother Glenn Elder.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2015 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Jonathan Cooksey officiating. Burial will follow in Browns Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Roland, Adam Tyler, Nathan Vann, Brandon David, Jeff David and Johnny Bond.
