Charles Raymond "Ray" Neudecker

Ray Neudecker, 71, died on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Memphis, TN on June 6, 1942, the son of the late Dr. Roy M. and Frances Brien Neudecker. He was a 1960 graduate of the former Jackson High School, where he played football and attended two years at Union University at the former downtown campus. He was self-employed in electronics. He was an avid fan and well known throughout the area for his boat racing.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Neudecker of Jackson, TN; three children, Jay Mills Neudecker, his wife Robin, of Ormond Beach, FL, Kristie Duke of Nashville, TN and Charlie Neudecker of Jackson, TN; two brothers, Frank Neudecker, his wife Sally, of Jackson, TN and Fred Neudecker, his wife Tammy, of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister, Jocelyn Sapp, her husband Barry, of McKinney, TX; two grandchildren, Melissa Rizera of Nashville, TN and Alex Neudecker of Ormond Beach, FL; his first wife, Jackie Neudecker of Nashville, TN; uncle, Bobby Brien, his wife Shirley, of Jackson, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at Ridgecrest Cemetery at 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2014 with Dr. John Bonson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
