Charles Michael Johnson

   Charles Michael "Mike" Johnson, passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 55. He was born on November 29, 1967, in Jackson, TN, to his loving parents, Bobby Ray and Barbara Smith Johnson.

   Mike lived a life dedicated to serving others in various capacities. For 17 years, he served as an Assembly of God Pastor, sharing the message of faith, hope, and love with his congregation. His guidance and spiritual leadership touched the lives of many within the community.

   In addition to his pastoral career, Mike also worked in automobile sales for many years. He lent his expertise and charisma to dealerships such as Alan Vines Automotive and Gene Langley Ford. His warm personality and genuine care for others made him successful in both professions.

   A man known for his compassion and caring nature, Mike always put his family first. He loved and cherished his wife Janna Johnson and their three children, Caleb, Lindsay, and Joy Belle. Their bond was unbreakable, founded on mutual respect and unwavering support.

   Mike's devotion to his family extended beyond his immediate circle. He shared a special bond with his sister Tammy Coleman (Ronnie) as they navigated life's ups and downs together. Their love and friendship were unshakeable.

   In his free time, Mike pursued a passion for teaching the Bible. He was a devoted Bible teacher who sought to inspire others through the power of scripture. His commitment to studying God's Word allowed him to cultivate deep spiritual insights that he enthusiastically shared with those around him. He attended Northside Church.

   Reading was also a beloved pastime for Mike. Whether it was delving into thought-provoking novels or expanding his knowledge through non-fiction works, he found solace and inspiration within the pages of books. His thirst for knowledge was contagious and influenced many around him.

SERVICE: To honor Mike's memory, a visitation will be held at Northside Church on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. His Celebration of Life will follow at 5:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Medina, TN.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Colin Hatch, Clifton Hatch, Avery Orr, Jaxon Douglas, Austin Coleman and David Rodamaker.

   Mike is survived by his loving wife, Janna Blow Johnson; his children, Caleb (Callista) Johnson, Lindsay Johnson, and Joy Belle Johnson, all of Medina, TN; parents, Bobby Ray and Barbara Johnson; sister, Tammy Coleman (Ronnie), of Milan, TN; brother Kris Johnson (Andrea)and grandchildren, Kensington and Isabella. He was an uncle to 37 nieces and nephews.
