Charles Weldon Mclemore Sr.

Charles Weldon McLemore, Sr., age 98, died on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital of Memphis, TN.
A native of Gibson County, Tennessee, Weldon was born on April 26, 1919, the son of Charles Madison and Shellie Rose Hawks McLemore. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He was retired from Taylor Forge in Quality Control. He was Methodist in his belief.
He is survived by his son, Charles W. McLemore, Jr of Memphis, TN and two sisters, Violet Pope of Memphis, TN and Elizabeth Newman of Jackson, TN.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until 1:00 prior to the service.
