Celia Collins

A memorial service for Celia Jane Collins, 76, will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Bill Luther and Mr. Reggie Smith officiating. Mrs. Collins died on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.Celia was born in Helena, AR on April 18, 1935, the daughter of the late Clyde and Daisy Buffington Willard. She attended Mississippi State College for Women. She was a devoted homemaker and mother to her family and assisted her husband as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of Love and Truth Church. Celia loved reading, traveling and playing in her Bridge Club. She is survived by her husband Bonnie Collins of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Carla Collins McPeak of Jackson, TN and Lisa Collins of Phoenix, AZ; a sister Shirley Wingate of Seattle, WA and a grandchild Michael Colin McPeak of Jackson, TN.Arrington Funeral Directors148 W.
