Cecilia Pauline Weaver Washburn

Cecilia P. Washburn, age 76, died peacefully Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Forest Cove Nursing Center of Jackson, TN.
She was born in Jackson on May 20, 1946, the daughter of the late Clarence Paul and Lorene Kemp Weaver. She attended Beech Bluff High School and retired from Porter Cable.
Cecilia is survived by her children, Tina Wilson Smith, Daniel Washburn (Geri), Jason Washburn (Natasha), Kevin Washburn (Amy), and Randy Wilson; sisters, Karen McCarver and Sandra Weaver, and numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David Washburn and two brothers, Larry and Marvin Weaver.
SERVICES: The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Rev. Glen Thompson and Rev. Travis Grimsley officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers serving will be Ben Stephenson, Chris Stephenson, Johnathan Stephenson, Hayden Tosh, Austin Weaver and Thomas Weaver.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org or to Jackson Animal Care Center, 23 Pinnacle Dr., Jackson, TN 38305.
