Carol Jean Hall, age 65 of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away at Jackson-Madison General Hospital on Friday, April 2, 2021.
Carol was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 23, 1955 to the late George Hall, Sr., and Betty Jean (Craig) Hall, who survives. Other than her father, she is preceded by a brother, George Allen Hall.
Although confined to a wheelchair for the past 13 years, Carol enjoyed many things. She loved the Lord and was a member of Englewood Baptist Church where she found much joy and happiness in attending her Sunday School class. She was very skillful and loved cross-stitching blankets. Carol Jean was a kind and loving woman who lit up a room with her compassionate smile and contagious laugh.
She is remembered as a loving and caring “babysitter”, having helped care for several children of family and friends. She was an avid sports fan, particularly of the University of Memphis men’s basketball team. She also loved fresh cut flowers and Smokey Mountain Taffy. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carol is survived by her adoring mother Betty Jean Hall of Jackson, TN; brother George Hall, Jr. and wife Kim of Beech Bluff, TN; sister Donna Hall of Jackson, TN; niece Kristen Mosley and husband Nick of Jackson, TN; as well as many other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
SERVICES: Carol’s funeral service will be Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Mark White officiating. Interment will follow in the New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, April 6 from 4PM to 6:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers to serve are Ray Goode, Ray Robbins, Chris Mosley, Nick Mosley and Jordan Hall.
