Brian Alan Ridley, age 29, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN.
A native of Jackson, TN, he was born on October 26, 1987 the son of Barry Max and Patricia Ann Honen Ridley. He was a graduate of Madison Academic of Jackson and received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Memphis. He was employed with Kellogg’s of Jackson, TN. He was a member of the Beech Bluff United Pentecostal Church. He was an avid sports person, playing football in high school and following baseball. He enjoyed playing pickle ball and ping pong and flying his drone.
He is survived by his parents, Barry and Patricia Ridley of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Aliana Ridley age 4 and Evie Ridley age 2 of Jackson, TN, a sister, Crystal Harris and husband Joey and their children Airan Reed and Keylan Ridley of Medina, TN and a half brother, Michael Honen of Oman and his children Paul Honen of Chattanooga, TN Francescia Honen and Laura Honen of Italy; his maternal grandfather, Robert Honen of Jackson, TN.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lucille Honen and his paternal grandparents, Rollin and Faye Ridley.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 31, 2017 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Rev. Curtis Howard and Rev. Glen Gaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie, TN.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Joey Harris, Airan Reed, Glen Gaugh, Josh Gatley, John Fischer and Daniel Cooper.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
