Brenda Poe Tillman

Brenda Poe Tillman, 68, died on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She was born in Hickman, KY on November 3, 1945, the daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Ruth Spillers Poe. Brenda was a teacher for twenty nine years retiring with the Lauderdale County School System. She was a member of Campbell Street Church of Christ. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them.
Brenda is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Larry L. Tillman; her daughters, Beth Boyd and husband Phillip and Lori Halliburton and husband Robert all of Medina, TN; four grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Halliburton, Austin Tanner Halliburton, Mason Tillman Boyd and Marshall Griffin Boyd all of Medina, TN; her brother, Jimmy Dale Poe and wife Robina of Clinton, KY and a sister-in-law, Judy Poe of Mesquite, TX.
She was preceded in death by a brother Larry Poe.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Ministers, Justin Paschal and Robert Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Centerville Cemetery in Medina, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service.
