Brenda Pentecost Mills

Brenda Pentecost Mills, age 74, died March 31, 2021 at Bells Nursing Home. She was born July 14, 1946 in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of Burnie and Jeanette Pentecost.
She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Haywood County. She retired from Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She loved traveling with her husband and spending time and supporting the grandchildren. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Farrell Brent Mills, and step-grandson Gary Mooney, Jr.
Brenda is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, James Farrell Mills, one son Kevin (Leslie) Mills, granddaughter Tiffany Mills Nichelson, grandson Tyler Mills, great-granddaughters Lexie Mills, Kylie Nichelson, step-grandson Adam (Becky) Hassell, step-granddaughter Libby Hassell, step-great granddaughters Abbey Hassell, Maggie Hassell, Kierstyn Mooney (Chris) Stowe and a beloved cousin Jeannie Rose.
SERVICES: Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 4:00PM at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Maxwell officiating. The family will be receiving friends Saturday from 1:30 – 3:30 at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Tom Mills, Stuart Mills, Mike Jones, Adam Hassell, Eddie Strong and Wally Strong.
The family suggest that memorial contributions be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
