Bonnie Meals Walker

Loving mother, Granny, and Great Granny, Bonnie Meals Walker, 87, died at Maplewood Healthcare Sunday, June 11, 2017.
She was born in Lexington, TN, the daughter of Johnny Meals and Minnie Ola Tyler Meals. She worked many years at Parks Belk in Sales, enjoyed quilting, cross stitching and gardening. She was a long-time member of North Jackson Baptist Church.
Miss Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Belinda Wade (Jay), of Franklin, TN, Becky Beal (Brian) of Jackson, TN, two sons, Barry Walker of Nashville, TN, Buddy Walker (Marla) of Jackson, TN, two brothers, Delton Meals (Wonnell) of Medon, TN, Gaylon Meals of Medina, TN, six grandchildren, Lauren Ashley Wade-Walsh (Steve), Candice Leigh Wade Sessoms (John), William Blake Beal, Bennett Aaron Walker III, Sidney Brooke Beal, Callie Walker, three Great Grandchildren, William Avery Beal, James Grayton Walsh and Elizabeth Porter Walsh. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Aaron Walker.
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2017 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM.
Grandchildren serving as pallbearers will be Blake Beal, Ben Walker, Steve Walsh, John Sessoms, Lauren Walsh, Candice Sessoms, Brooke Beal and Callie Walker.
The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to Shepherd Center, 2020 Peachtree Rd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30309.
