Bobby Joe Weaver

Memorial services for Bobby Joe Weaver, 78, will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Harold Montgomery officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00 PM. Mr. Weaver went to be with his Lord on December 25, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Munford, TN on May 31, 1934, the son of the late Rev. H. D. and Beulah Warpool Weaver. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Alaska for two years. He married Nancy Evans Weaver in 1957, who preceded him in death in 2006. He enjoyed coaching baseball and had the privilege of coaching the North Madison Dixie Youth to the Tennessee State Tournament Crown in 1968 and the thirteenth Annual Dixie World Series. He also enjoyed Antiquing, Woodworking, Gardening and enjoying the outdoors. He was retired from the former Consolidated Aluminum.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Ladawn Nichols and husband Billy of Jackson, TN; his son, Doug Weaver and wife Dawn of Memphis, TN and two grandchildren, Rachel Nichols and Joshua Nichols.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, S.P. Weaver and R.E. Weaver.
