Bobby Neal Hopper, Sr.

Bobby Neal Hopper, Sr., age 81, died on January 8, 2015, at his Jackson, TN residence.
A native of Jackson and Madison County, Bobby was born on December 26, 1933, the son of the late William Tolbot and Lilly Dyer Hopper. He was one of twelve children to William and Lilly. During the 1950’s he served his county as a member of the Tennessee National Guard. He was self-employed as an Independent Insurance Agent for many years. He was one of the charter members of Skyline Church of Christ of Jackson. He was a loving father and grandfather to his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lawana Graves Hopper of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Beth Hopper Story and husband Bobby of Charlotte, NC and Phyllis Olley and husband Scott of Bells, TN; a son, Jeff Hopper and wife Beth of Three-Way, TN; two brothers, Guy Hopper and wife Betty Jo of Jackson, TN and Larry Hopper and wife Frances of Jackson, TN; a brother in law and sister in law, Larry and Patsy Pritchard of Jackson, TN; five grandchildren, James Yelverton, Jr., Joshua Story, Alyssa Hopper, Hunter Story and Seth Hopper and two great grandchildren, Jessica Wright and Teagan Flowers.
He was preceded by a son, Bobby Neal Hopper, Jr. in 1987.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Bill Mitchusson officiating. A private entombment service will follow.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers will be James Yelverton, Joshua Story, Hunter Story, Seth Hopper, Tim Pritchard and Scott Johnson. Honorary pallbearer will be Kelly Ing.
