Betty Jane Moling, 82, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Gibson County, TN, Betty was born on February 24, 1931, the daughter of the late Mose and Laura Mae Cheeks Loyens. She was married to Jerry Moling who preceded her in death. She was a member of Wards Grove Baptist Church and retired from Quaker-Oats Manufacturing. She was known for being a hard worker and always caring for her family. She had a love for flowers and enjoyed her flower garden.
Betty is survived by two sons, Donald Roe and Charles Roe both of Jackson, TN and a daughter, Dr. Laurie Moling Baker of Collierville, TN; a brother, Bobby Loyens of Jackson, TN and a sister, Lillian Byars of Jackson, TN; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children, Tammy Murphy and Richard Cannon.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be directed to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
