Barbara Lowrance passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on October 8, 2010, after a brief illness. Funeral services for Mrs. Lowrance will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, October 10, 2010, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Pastor Jimmy Dyer officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Barbara was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, on May 28, 1940, to William Clark and Martha Sue KimbroughTeague. When Barbara was an infant the family moved to Jackson, Tennessee, where she attended local schools and graduated from Jackson High School in 1958. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked as a homemaker and was a Christian in faith.She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ralph ?Doc? Lowrance; her daughters, Lisa Crow and husband Mark of Jackson, TN, and Lori Sterling of Jackson, TN; her sons, Brad Williams and wife Melissa of Cordova, TN, and Ralph D. Lowrance, Jr. and wife Billie Jean of Lexington, TN; her grandchildren, Allison Collins and husband Jimmy of Jackson, TN, Zachary Sterling of Jackson, TN, and Sara Sterling of Jackson, TN; and great-granddaughter Bella Sterling of Jackson, TN; her brothers, William Clark Teague, Jr., and Tommy Teague and wife Brenda of Jackson, TN.Pallbearers to serve will be Donald Jeter, Jerry Seaton, Don Tucker, Alan Eubanks, Jackie Lowrance, John Teague and Michael Teague.
