Alicia Beth Marbury, age 45, of Jackson, TN entered her eternal reward with her Savior, Jesus on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital.
Alicia was born on April 20, 1977, in Jackson, TN to David Marbury and Debbie Marbury Brown. She grew up as a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Jackson. She was a 1995 graduate of Jackson Central Merry and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of TN Martin. Alicia’s degree and her servant heart led her to her work with TN Department of Human Services, Easter Seals, TN Homeless Solutions, and most recently TN Mental Health Consumers Association.
Alicia lived her life as a devoted follower of Christ and faithful servant. She found joy in church, family, friends, and Union basketball. To know Alicia was to know how much she cherished her family and friends. She encouraged others in their faith and was always persistent in caring for others in times of need. She had an infectious spirit and was a bright light to so many.
She was preceded in death by grandparents: Owen and Juanita Marbury of Jackson, TN; and Carl Eugene and Jeweldene Jones of Bradford, TN; as well as Terri Marbury, wife of David Marbury.
Alicia is survived by her parents, David Marbury, and Debbie Brown. She is also survived by her stepfather Robert Brown; sister Allison Badgett and husband, Michael; and nieces, Madelyn, and Anna Badgett; aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless loved ones.
